Winter Youth Pickleball League @ GPCC

Our sold out winter youth pickleball league at GPCC was a great success. Each week teams competed against each other in three game matches. Participants were also provided pickleball instruction and review of fundamental aspects of the game. Cumulative scores from each week of play were tallied to determine our semi-final participants. On the final day of play, teams competed in semi-final and championship matches to determine the gold, silver and bronze medal winners. This was a great group of young players who were respectful, learned the importance of communication and showed great sportsmanship. Most of all, we observed significant improvement in their play and strategizing from week to week. The Kitchen Cookers defeated Double Trouble for the gold and were awarded medals and jars of locally sourced pickles. Double Trouble was awarded silver medals. The bronze medal match went to an exciting 3rd game and we congratulate The Ballers on their bronze medal.
