The Kitchen Mixer
Instruction + Open Play
A relaxed, social introduction to pickleball built for mingling, not medaling. Lisa walks your team through the fundamentals – serves, rallies, and yes, why it’s called “the kitchen” – before opening up the courts for casual games, mixed groups, and rotating matchups. It’s low-pressure, high-energy, and easy for every skill level (including zero) to jump into. Format: 2-3 hours. Group instruction followed by open play and rotating games. Great for: Happy hours, new-hire welcomes, department mixers, casual team outings.
King & Queen of the Court
Instruction + Round Robin Tournament
For teams who want their fun with a side of bragging rights. Lisa runs the same hands-on instruction, then transitions your group straight into a structured round robin tournament. Matches rotate so everyone plays, standings build as the afternoon goes on, and it all builds to naming this event’s King and Queen of the Court – crowned, celebrated, and very photogenic. Format: 2-3 hours. Group instruction followed by a bracketed round robin tournament. Great for: Annual retreats, offsites, incentive trips, holiday parties, friendly rivalries between departments.
