GPCC Fall 2 Pickleball League

Reisel Rackets continued its program partnership with the Greater Plymouth Community Center (GPCC) to host and facilitate their fall pickleball leagues. Congratulations to our winners of the Intermediate league, A Stiff Dink and winners of our beginner/intermediate league, Dink and Dash. Winners were awarded pickleball medals and pickles from a local pickler, Pickle Dude Philly. @pickledude_philly

Teams in each of our leagues competed during five (5) weeks of regular season play, in three (3) set matches, to keep a running accumulation of points scored. The top four (4) teams competed in a semi-final match during week six (6) followed immediately by a championship match and third place match to determine our league winners. Matches were competitive all season long and the accumulation of points was close. Our matches to determine bronze medal winners went to three (3) game sets in each of our league championships after teams split the first two games. We saw significant improvement in play by our beginner players who had more consistent games each week. In our intermediate league, teams continued to work with their partners to strategize each week to earn hard won points against tough opponents. Most of all, our teams created a great rapport among one another and enjoyed a fun and competitive experience.
